Kazunori Ohara appointed as Cambodia national team’s interim manager

Following the shocking departure of coach Leonardo Vitorino, Cambodia national team will now need a replacement ahead of their final AFC Asian Cup qualifying match against Jordan next month.

According to Keila Daily, Kazunori Ohara, who is the technical director of the Football Federation of Cambodia, will be in charge as Cambodia’s interim manager.

Vitorino was handed the coaching post of Cambodia national team, replacing the South Korean tactician Lee Tae-hoon in March 2017.

The Brazilian struggled at the helm of the senior national side with only one win over Afghanistan in the 2019 Asian Cup qualification this July.
