Sukhothai Part Ways With Suttinun and Kyaw Ko Ko

Former Thailand defender, Suttinun Phukhom, and Myanmar striker, Kyaw Ko Ko, released by Sukhothai FC amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sukhothai FC is the latest club to cut-cost during the Thai League 2020 hiatus by parting ways with Suttinun Phukhom, 32, and Kyaw Ko Ko, 27.

Suttinun won the 2007 SEA Games Gold and the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup representing the War Elephants. He played over a century of games for Chonburi FC between 2008 and 2018 before signing with PTT Rayong. He joined Sukhothai FC at the start of the campaign but is yet to play for the Firebats. 

As for Kyaw Ko Ko, the Myanmar international reunited with former head coach Surapong Kongthep as a fellow new signing this season. He joined on a  from Yangon United with experience with Chiangrai United and Samut Prakan City.
