Consadole Sapporo has published an application for a Vietnamese to Japanese translator, sparking transfer speculation
While the player remains unnamed, their hunt for a translator seems to confirm that they are set to sign a player from Vietnam.
The club’s message notes that they are looking for an interpreter to “assist a professional Vietnamese soccer player,” and ask that they be able to work “from February to December 2020,” which is the span of the upcoming J.League season.

Expectedly, this message has sparked interest and speculation on who Consadole’s new signing could be.
The Hokkaido Islanders already had an offer for Vietnamese attacking midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai rejected earlier in the window. It remains to be seen whether they had a second offer accepted by Hanoi FC, or whether this is a different target who they have now signed.
