The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced the ten Chinese cities which will host the Asian Cup in 2023.
China was chosen to host the tournament back in June, as their bid beat out South Korea’s.
It was confirmed on Saturday that Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi’an, Qingdao, Xiamen, and Suzhou will host games during the tournament, with further information on stadia set to be released.
The tournament’s last edition, hosted by the United Arab Emirates, was played in January and February of this year and drew in fans across the continent. It is expected that the 2023 competition will be held during the summer, and will look to build on the previous tournament’s success.
