ANALYSIS: South Korea, always same but different

▶ We still have Son Heung-min

It’s hard to imagine the pressure the national team players get. It will be even tougher for someone who’s considered a key player. Why else would Neymar cry after the victory?

Korea’s key player is Son Heung-min, Tottenham Hotspurs’ number 7. However, he had not made a single attempt on target against Sweden. The team played defensively, but it is not the best record for a forward to hold.

Against Mexico, however, Son has changed. His performance with the speed and positioning was impressive. Just before the final whistle, Son scored a wonder goal. With his performance, Korea managed to avoid being the team with no goal in two consecutive games.
