South Korea got defeated 0-2 by Senegal in their last friendly ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
East Asia’s side allowed two goals in the second half only. Fans have crticised South Korea’s head coach Shin Tae-yong for “trying without thinking” when the competition is coming soon.
South Korea coach Shin Tae-yong was not happy with such reaction.
“I don’t know why people say I’m experimenting too much [without thinking of how it would turn out]. We are not playing against Sweden only; even if we play well against Sweden, we still have Germany and Mexico,” Shin said.
“We have to play all three matches. How I want to position my players is in my head; people outside say it is an experiment, but it is not. When I choose players to be on the ground, I think of how I’m going to use him in the next match.”
