Australia talent Daniel Arzani will officially be the youngest player at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Arzani is confirmed as the youngest man at the 2018 tournament after Poland cut Sebastian Szymanski, who is five months younger than the Socceroos winger, from their final squad.
This will be the stunning move for Arzani, who just made the first start for Melbourne City last August in the FFA Cup and has just 16 starts in his professional career.
The Iranian-born made a debut for Australia off the bench in Friday’s 4-0 friendly win over the Czech Republic.
Meanwhile, Australian striker Tim Cahill is the fourth oldest player to be heading to Russia at the age of 38.
The Socceroos open their campaign in Russia with a clash against France on June 16, before taking on Denmark on June 21 and Peru on June 26.
