Iran national team manager Carlos Queiroz announced his provisional squad for 2018 World cup that caused huge controversies.
He dropped veteran defender and Persepolis Captain Jalal Hosseini, who has been thought to be in Iran’s starting line-ups at the World Cup.
Esteghlal right back Voria Ghafouri, who has been in sensational form in this season, also was dropped. Goalkeeper Hossein Hosseini and striker Kaveh Rezaei who has brilliant also were among shocking absentees.
On the other hand, the Portuguese manager kept players like Ashkan Dejagah and Amir Abedzadeh who have found short time to play in last two seasons.
