Million-dollar trio Jose Fonte, Yannick Carrasco and Nicolas Gaitan of Dalian Yifang suffered an embarrassing 8-0 defeat on Chinese Super League debut by Shanghai SIPG.
Ex-Chelsea midfielder Oscar opened the scoring after 28 seconds, before making it 2-0 in the 24th minute.
Hulk also got his name on the scoresheet during the rout from the penalty spot after a foul by Jose Fonte in the 37th minute.
Chinese midfielder Wu Lei scored a pair of goals in the 60th and 65th minute before Oscar completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute.
Wu then netted his third goal with a header in the 83rd minute, before Lyu Wenjun sealed a big win for SIPG one minute later.
The disastrous result leaves newly-promoted Dalian Yifang at the bottom of the table after the opening day of the season. In the next round, they have to face giants Guangzhou R&F.
