Rezaldi Hehanusa’s goal voted as AFC Cup second matchday’s best goal

Last Wednesday, Persija Jakarta impressively won against Tampines Roves in the second matchday of the AFC Group Stage.

Macan Kemayoran, who played in front of his own fans, thrashed their opponent with 4-1 as the final result. The Croatian striker, Marko Simic, became the star of the match. With his clinical finishing, he scored three goals for Persija.

One more goal comes from Persija’s talented left back, Rezaldi Hehanusa. The second goal for Persija from Bule – Kemayoran’s nickname – was so fantastic that it is chosen as the best goal in AFC Cup’s second matchday.

Rezaldi cut through from the left side and then decided to run to the center. He got his pace and the timing before he shot with his left from a long distance. For your information, Rezaldi is right-footed, so his left foot power is not that great. The ball passed through the goalkeeper and made him stay on his feet.

Rezaldi’s long-distance goal comes first as the best goal in AFC second matchday, beats another three nominations. He gets 87 percent votes and leaves behind his other competitors, such as goal from Karrar Ali (AL Suwaiq), Maycon (Boeung Ket Angkor), and Khalil Bani Atiyah (Al Ansar).

As left back, Rezaldi has sharp instinct and his attacking skill is above the average. He often keeps his opponent busy with his cutting and his accurate passing. That goal in AFC is great but it is not the only one. He also scored beautifully when Indonesia U-22 met with Myanmar U-22 back in 2017 SEA Games.
