Football Tribe is excited to open applications for the inaugural class of the Football Tribe Academy, an intensive short-term course intended to cultivate new generations of young Asian football writers with a combination of lessons taught by our dedicated editorial team and practical training experience.
This course, the first of its kind to be offered across an Asian football network, will introduce students to the principles and methods of football journalism, including focused lessons on covering domestic and international football, long-form writing and analysis, and developing and executing editorial coverage plans. Participants will also experience opportunities to cover football hands-on thanks to agreements with local clubs and players.
In addition to a certificate and letter of recommendation, graduates of the Academy will be eligible for internships and consideration for future writer positions at Football Tribe.
We look forward to welcoming our first class of students beginning in March 2018 and watching them progress over the coming months.
