Pattaya United have completed the signing of striker Rafinha from Brazilian club Paraná, the club announced on Sunday.
Starting his professional career in Brazilian outfit Nacional-SP, Rafinha had been on loan to several clubs before landing at J-League Division 2 outfit Thespa Kusatsu in 2010.
After spending a season and a half with Thespa Kusatsu, the 30-year-old joined Gamba Osaka and then Ulsan Hyundai on loan.
His impressive performance, which helped Ulsan Hyundai win 2012 AFC Champions League title, earned him a signing with the Korean side.
However, the Brazilian failed to impress in the 2014 season and was traded to Yokohama F. Marinos.
His poor form in the Far East lead Rafinha to a return to native Brazilian club Audax in 2017, before joining Parana in the same year
