Boeung Ket FC have been crowned Cambodian League champions for the third time following the victory over Ministry of National Defense FC in the final on Saturday.
Boeung Ket FC claimed the Cambodia League championship for the second consecutive year after beating Ministry of National Defense FC 10-9 in the penalty shoot-out.
Previously, both sides held a 1-1 draw after extra time in the final.
As champions of Cambodian League, Boeung Ket FC were rewarded with $15,000 and a ticket as Cambodian representatives into the 2018 AFC Cup group stage.
