Chonburi FC target Cambodian midfielder Chrerng Polroth

Chonburi FC have targeted Cambodian midfielder Chrerng Polroth after failing to sign Indonesian young star Evan Dimas, as reported by Thai media.

According to Thsports, Chonburi technical director Withaya Laohakul revealed that he had approached Polroth during Kuala Lumpur’s SEA Games 2017.

Meanwhile, the general manager of Polroth’s current club Ministry of National Defense FC, Khov Chhay, told TheMorning that he had already held a meeting with Thai League 1’s side to discuss the Cambodian midfielder’s future.

“We just had a basic discussion with their manager [Chonburi FC’s side], but didn’t go to any conclusion yet, and we will see.

“They will give us more update when they decide to get him [sign him]. Now they just show their interest [in Polroth],” Kov said.
