BEC Tero Sasana defender Mario Abrante has inked a contract with Atlético de San Luis, the Mexican club announced on Thursday.
In a brief post on their official Facebook side, Atlético de San Luis revealed the arrival of Abrante. The details of the agreement remain undisclosed.
Abrante is a veteran defender who had a load of experience in the Spanish La Liga. He played for several top clubs in Spain including Barcelona, Getafe, Real Betis.
On the international stage, he was capped in U16-U21 squads of Spain and won UEFA U-16 Championship in 1999.
The 35-year-old is not a stranger to Thailand football scene. He joined Thai League 1 powerhouse Muangthong United in March 2016 and won the Thailand Super League there.
Earlier this year, he moved to rival team BEC Tero Sasana and impressed with his strong but calm leadership at the back.
