Vietnam playmaker Luong Xuan Truong has been open about his future move to play in a Thai clubs.
Truong and his teammate Vietnam U-23 are competing in the friendly tournament M-150 Cup at Buriram. The Young Golden Stars will face their arch-rivals Thailand U-23 in the battle on Friday.
In the pre-match press conference on Thursday, Truong expressed his excitement when being asked about the possibility of playing in Thailand.
“I have not received any offers from Thailand. However, I know that you have an engaging and high-quality football league, so if I have a chance, I am willing to challenge myself in a Thai team. It would be an interesting experience,” he said, as quoted by Tin The Thao.
Truong has been on loan to Gangwon from Incheon United earlier this year. Having spent two seasons in South Korea, the 22-year-old midfielder haven’t been able to nail down a starting position in the squad.
