Cambodia captain Kouch Sokumpheak called on the supporters to support and not to abandon the national team regardless recent series of poor results, as reported by TheMorning.
“Whatever I need to do, I always give my best. However, I’d like to also thank our national team’s supporters,” Kouch wrote on his Facebook.
“I hope that you all [supporters] won’t give up and continue the journey with the Kouprey Blues in whatever circumstance.”
Cambodia have won only one from their last six home matches, and they crashed out of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers following a 1-0 defeat to Group C’s leader Jordan at home on November 14.
