Indonesian starlet Egy Maulana Vikri is ready to fight for his team at the 2019 U-19 Asian Cup qualification, which will take place between October 31 and November 9 in South Korea.
Although the qualification is only a formality for Indonesia U-19 since they qualify automatically as hosts, Egy hopes to achieve the best results with his greatest efforts.
“We are cautious and never underestimate the opponent team, we want to give the best for Indonesia and ask for the support for our team,” said Egy in the official release of PSSI, as quoted by Goal Indonesia.
“We’ve had a few days of training here in cold weather and the coach has also given all the stimulation on how to play against the opponents, hopefully in South Korea there will be no obstacles,”the 17-year-old added.
In the qualification, Indonesia were drawn in the same group with South Korea, Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.
