Ho Chi Minh City FC has suffered from an away 4-1 defeat to Hai Phong in the 21st round of V-League on Saturday afternoon.
The chaos happened in the 83rd minute of the match, when striker Da Sylva Dominique of Ho Chi Minh City FC was tackled by two of opponents’ defenders in the penalty area.
The players of away team were immediately gathering around referee Nguyen Van Kien and demanding a penalty, but no whistle was blown.
At the same time, Hai Phong made a fast counter-attack and scored the third goal with not too much attempt from Le Xuan Hung.
After this match, Ho Chi Minh City are standing at the 10th position with 24 points.
