Venezuelan centre-back Andes Tunez has signed a contract to play for Spanish Segunda Division Elche until the end of the season, on loan from Thai League outfit Buriram United.
The 30-year-old defender graduated from Spanish youth coaching system and spent 8 years playing for Celta Vigo.
He joined Buriram United on a permanent deal in 2014, helping the Thai club to win back-to-back league titles in 2014 and 2015, as well as a Thai FA Cup trophy in 2015.
Andres Tunez is the fourth player to join Elche in the January transfer market, along with Fabian Ruiz (from Real Betis), Borja Valle (on loan from Deportivo La Coruna), and Dominique Malonga (from Italian Serie B outfit Pro Vercelli).
