Iranian midfielder Ali Karimi is set to join Croatian club NK Lokomotiva Zagreb on loan until the end of the season, according to reports.
His parent club, Dinamo Zagreb has reached an agreement with local rivals Lokomotiva Zagreb for a loan deal, and the former Sepahan footballer is expected to finalize his contract by the end of the week.
Previously, Ali Karimi has been linked with a move back to Iran, with clubs such as Sepahan and Persepolis interested in signing him on loan.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined Dinamo Zagreb from Iranian side Sepahan for a reported fee of $400,000. He is the first Iranian footballer to play in the Croatian league Prva HNL.
Ali Karimi also made his debut for Team Melli in 2016.
