Kelantan escaped relegation after a 3-1 win over Melaka in the final round of Malaysia Super League.
The results allowed Kelantan move to the safety of 10th position on the table, with Sarawak and Penang being relegated.
Melaka took the lead through Nicolas Swirad on the 31st minute, but the guests managed in fighting back spiritedly in the second half.
Mid-season signing Abou Bakr equalized for Kelantan in the 73rd minute. But striker Alessandro Celin was the hero of the Red Warriors as he scored twice to help his side achieve a vital win.
Kelantan finished their campaign in 10th spot in the 12-team Super League standings with 22 points, just a point above Sarawak.
Kuala Lumpur and Terengganu will take their place in the top-flight next season.
