Lionel Messi may not have played in a fixture with Paris Saint-Germain yet, but he is reportedly already looking ahead to a possible reunion with another former teammate of his.
Spanish-based outlet Todofichahes reports that Messi is aiming to soon play once again alongside former Barcelona and current Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez at PSG next season. The duo featured immensely successfully together over six seasons at Barcelona, forming a truly formidable trident, MSN, with Neymar, where the trio set numerous goal-scoring records and instilled fear into defense lines across Europe.
Suarez will become a free agent enjoying his Bosman status next year, which is possibly why he is also hopeful of joining PSG to play alongside Messi, and also Neymar, again.
PSG had reportedly showed an interest in signing Suarez over the last summer transfer window although in the end Suarez ended up joining Atletico Madrid instead, where the move has so far paid off handsomely for him after he helped the team win La Liga honors this past season.
To be able to see Messi, Neymar and Suarez play together once again but wearing the red and blue of the French powerhouse this time around would surely be a welcome spectacle for sore eyes.
