Man Utd can get Jadon Sancho for £52m instead of £105.4m

Manchester United top brass have been led to believe they can possibly sign Jadon Sancho much cheaper for as little as £52 million, according to transfer expert Ian McGarry.

Sancho is the primary target in the centre of United’s crosshairs ahead of the coming summer transfer window and Borussia Dortmund, hard-pushed and reluctant to release their super hot star winger are said to be asking nothing less than £100m for the England international’s signature.

McGarry is confident that no fee has yet been agreed on between Dortmund and United and claims that people at United are optimistic they can get Sancho in a cut-price deal upon the resumption of football after the coronavirus pandemic.

“It seems that never a day goes by without another mention of this particular transfer,” McGarry said on the Transfer Window podcast.

“My information as of today is that there’s no fee agreed between Dortmund and Manchester United, in fact they are quite some way off that.

“Of course the current situation regarding the global pandemic, I think both clubs are waiting to see how that pans out before trying to come to the correct valuation of the player.

“Obviously Dortmund have been quoting €120m (£105.4m), Manchester United are not prepared to pay that.

“I’m told some people inside Old Trafford believe that Sancho can be gotten for as little as €60m (£52.7m) once we start playing football again and the window is open.”
