Malaysia Cup runners-up Kedah are making an offer to former Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) coach Mario Gomez, as reported by the New Straits Times.
The representatives of the club have reportedly contacted Gomez two days ago and made him an offer to replace Mohd Nidzam Adzha Yusoff.
Meanwhile, the Argentine confirmed he had verbally accepted KFA’s offer.
“I am now waiting for a decision and subsequent answer from Kedah, as we had discussed two days ago and I do not have any problems with the contract that was offered,” Gomez said.
“It’s just that we did not discuss in detail but I have told them that I accept the proposed salary figure.”
