Ubon UMT United manager Scott Cooper has confirmed the departure of center back Victor Cardozo and midfielder Gionata Verzura from the club, according to reports from Thailand.
Cardozo will join Chiangrai United, while the Thai-Italian Verzura will play for Ratchaburi outfit in the 2018/2019 season.
Starting his professional career in hometown Brazil, Cardozo mostly earned the success only after joining Ubon UMT United in 2015. The Brazilian became the important factor to help The Eagles climb from third-tier Regional League North-East Division to Thai League 1 in just 3 years.
Gionata Verzura is Italian-Thai descent. The 25-year-old midfielder once was summoned to the Thailand national team by former coach Kiatisuk Senamuang for the third-round World Cup qualification this March, but not included in the final squad.
