Korea Football Association (KFA) hires two veteran coaches from Spain as assistants to national team head coach Shin Tae-yong at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, as confirmed by the football governing body on Friday.
According to KFA, Spaniard Jose Antonio Grande Cereijo and Javier Minano, who were part of the Spain national football team that won the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 EURO under head coach Vincente Del Bosque, would arrive in South Korea late on Friday.
As reported by Yonhap News, KFA expects Cereijo set up tactics and analyze opponents, while Minano will serve as fitness coach under the reign of head coach Shin.
Both newly-appointed coaches will join the national team training session next week to help the team for upcoming friendly matches with Colombia and Serbia on 10 and 14 November.
