Carlos Tevez sheds 6 kilograms amid Shanghai’s fans criticism

Shanghai Shenhua confirmed Carlos Tevez had lost 6 kilograms in weight after a difficult first year in China, as reported by The Sun.

After an extensive personal training, former Manchester United star has gone from 78kg at the start of the year to 72kg now.

Tevez played all 90 minutes in the 5-1 home win over Yanbian Funde in Chinese Super League on Sunday.

In early September, Shanghai Shenhua coach Wu Jingui slammed Tevez for being “overweight” and insisted the striker was not available for selection until his fitness improved.

Tevez penned a two-year contract at Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua last December after agreeing with a mega-money move to China.

However, Argentine, who is earning a €730.000 weekly wage, has struggled to meet up the expectation of Shanghai-based club.
