The Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) is planning to host the majority of tournaments in Southeast Asia in 2018.
Specifically, PSSI wants to host the AFF U-15 and U17 Championship, along with the 22018 AFF Futsal Championship and the 2018 AFF Beach Soccer Championship.
“We are submitting to AFF a plan to host the AFF U-15 and U17 Championship, along with the 2018 AFF Futsal Championship and 2018 AFF Beach Football Championship. The final decision will be made at the December meeting,” PSSI Vice president Joko Driyono said.
“If we win the host bidding, we plan to host these tournaments in next May and June.”
Currently, Indonesia has officially hosted the AFC U-19 Championship in October and 2018 Asian Games in August.
In addition, with the new format of AFF Cup, Indonesia will certainly host at least two games of the tournament.
