JDT to face Kedah in Malaysia Cup final

Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) will face defending champions Kedah in Malaysia Cup final following a 3-0 win over Perak in the second leg of their semifinal on Saturday night to go through with a 4-1 aggregate.

At Larkin Stadium, JDT needed 57 minutes to break the deadlock with a goal from Gonzalo Cabrera.

Gabriel Guerra added to the scoreline in the 75th minute, then wrapped the match with his second goal in the 81st minute.

At Alor Setar’s Darul Aman Stadium, Kedah came through 2-0 against Felda United for a 3-1 aggregate triumph.

The Malaysia Cup final between JDT and Kedah will take place at Shah Alam Stadium, Selangor on 4 November.
