Marcello Lippi has praised Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) as “the Juventus of Malaysia” after spending the past few days with China national team at Malaysian giants’ training facility Padang Seri Gelam.
According to Fourth Official, the former World Cup winner expressed his impression with the quality of the world-class facilities in Johor Bahru and wishes the Malaysia Super League (MSL) winners well in the future.
“I think the training center is nice and the quality of the pitch is good. I also like the gym, swimming pool, and all other facilities over here,” Lippi said.
Lippi and his team have conducted training sessions in Malaysia since last Thursday. The Team Dragon will face Syria in the crucial World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
China is standing in fifth place of the six-team Group A in the third round qualification with just five points from seven games.
