U-22 Cambodia national team have suffered from a heavy defeat to hosts Myanmar in the KBZ Bank Cup match on Wednesday.
The hosts made a fast start to the game in the 17th minute before young striker Aung Thu doubled the lead for The White Angels right before the half-time.
Under the overwhelming attacking pressure from Myanmar, Cambodia managed in balancing the deficits by a goal from Chreng Polroth’s free-kick three minutes after the restart.
However, the young Kouprey’s efforts were wiped out as Maung Maung Lwin soon added a third for Myanmar with a thunderbolt strike from outside the box.
A goal scored by Si Thu Aung in the 64th minute rounded up a 4-1 victory for Myanmar.
