According to the Italian media “Il messaggero,” Gennaro Gattuso is ready to come back coaching in the Serie A.
Gattuso, after playing several years at AC Milan, led the Rossoneri for two seasons from 2017 to 2019 and now is waiting for another adventure as a coach.
The team interested in him is Lazio, who are not so happy with Simone Inzaghi’s results this year. Currently, the team is gathering information on several coaches and Gattuso is on the top of the list.
Lazio’s results are not bad enough to require a sudden change in coach. However, it appears that Simone Inzaghi, who lost also his game in Europa League against Romania’s CFR Cluj, needs to shows some results before the winter transfer season if he wants to keep his position.
