Two wins in two! Watch Kento Hashimoto’s superb finish against Ural

FC Rostov defeated Ural 1-0 thanks to a clinical goal by their Japanese midfielder Kento Hashimoto. The new signing from FC Tokyo rifled a loose ball high into the net in the 59th minute for his second goal in as many Russian Premier League games.

Regarded as one of the brightest prospects coming out of the youth system, Kento Hashimoto made his senior debut for FC Tokyo at the age of 18 before heading off in search of more experiences with the likes of Roasso Kumamoto in the lower division. The Japanese international played more than 167 games across all competitions for his boyhood club, scoring 17 goals on the way, and was included in the 2019 J1 League best XI prior to his move abroad. The winner against Ural is Hashimoto’s second goal in 5 games for The Muzhiki following his winner against Ufa just 3 days earlier.
