Nattawut Sombatyotha – Age 24 – Winger
After bursting onto the scene during a loan spell with Navy at 18, Nattawut Sombatyotha joined Ratchaburi from Buriram to much fanfare. The winger developed quickly, and became a regular starter in the Dragons’ lineup at age 19. It looked like the youngster was destined for greatness.
However, the talented attacker stagnated over his time at Ratchaburi, often being shifted out of position to accommodate more prolific foreign attackers. Nattawut revived himself on loan at Chiangmai FC last season, but will be far behind players such as Bodin Phala and Tanasith Sriphala on Port’s left flank. It is reported that Samut Prakan City are interested in the attacker, who shouldn’t struggle to find a T1 club for the upcoming season.
Yossawat Montha – Age 24 – Left-Back
Yossawat has arguably been the biggest victim of Port’s spending spree this season, being bumped down all the way to fifth-choice left-back behind Kevin, Steuble, Thithathorn and Jaturapat. If he is not sold by the club in this window, a loan must certainly be on the cards for the 24-year-old.
Known for his attacking and crossing ability, Yossawat faces stern competition from the younger Jaturapat as well as established first-choice Kevin Deeromram. After spending a portion of last season in T2 with Nongbua Pitchaya, he’s likely drop down a division once again, but a bottom-half T1 side could also be potentially decent suitors.
