Kanarin Thawornsak – Age 23 – Central Midfielder

After starting regularly for the first four games of the season, Kanarin Thawornsak has endeared himself to Port FC supporters for his hard work and defensive ability. Having burst onto the scene with strong performances at the AFC U23 Championships with Thailand earlier this year, this campaign could be crucial for the midfielder’s development.

However, with a number of established names ahead of him in Port’s midfield, it is highly possible that Kanarin could seek a spell away from the club for more regular game time. While he clearly has the quality to start for his current side, it wouldn’t be surprising if he is moved out temporarily in favor of the senior stars.

Chanayut Jejue – Age 21 – Attacking Midfielder

One of the few players to come through Port’s youth academy and B-Team side, Chanayut made his debut in the dead-rubber final-day fixture against Samut Prakan City last season. Getting the dynamic attacking midfielder into the first team would be a major achievement for the Klongtoei side.

However, given the sheer depth of established talent in that area of the pitch, it is unsurprising that Chanayut is looking for a spell away from the club. Given that most of his prior experience has been with Port’s B-Team in T4, it is most likely that he will aim to hone his skills in T3 or even T2 for the coming campaign.
