Jeonbuk Return to Summit as Ulsan Drop Points

Defending K-League champions Jeonbuk Hyundai have returned to the top of the standings with a 2-0 win over Daegu on Sunday.

The hosts were victorious thanks to two second-half goals, courtesy of Murilo and Jo Kyu-Seong.

This result was enough for Jeonbuk to earn a two-point cushion at the top of the table, as Ulsan dropped two points in their game against Busan I’Park.

The Ulsan Tigers played out a 1-1 draw and were forced to come from behind to level the scoring with a penalty from Junior Negrao in the 81st minute.

Elsewhere, Suwon Bluewings picked up their first points of the season, winning 1-0 against Incheon United.
