Malaysian agent, Abdul Rahim Shukor has revealed that Harimau Malaya star striker Norshahrul Idlan Talaha will be joining Thai League 2 Champions, BG Pathum United.
He said the 33-year-old is reportedly traveling to Bangkok today and will undergo a medical on Thursday, before signing an official contract on Friday.
“A few months ago, they are looking for ASEAN player and I recommend Norshahrul,” he said to MFL.
“I didn’t see his age as a concern, I’m confident we can play two to three seasons because he is still a very good forward. With his ability, he is able to compete in Thailand.”
Norshahrul will be the second Malaysian to move to Thailand this window, following Dominic Tan, who made his move to fellow promoted side Police Tero permanent ahead of the current season.
