Son Heung-min announced separation with his ten-year-long agent, Jang Ki-young this Friday. The 27-year-old forward says he has lost faith with Jang.

In his e-mail to the Sports United representative, the Korean international stated “I will terminate the relationship for it has gone trustless.

“Sports United no longer have any right to utilize my entity. I ask the company to do best to prevent the emergence of any more victims. Also, actions will be taken if the company claims any right on me.”

Jang had taken care of the winger since 2010 when Son was still part of the Hamburger SV’s youth academy. However, discord between the two began when the Sports United representative sold their corporation over to Andu Entertainment (Drama production company) on 5th June without the noticing the client. It was also found out that the acquirer utilized the player’s images to gain investment without consent.

In the meantime, the pacey winger is set to play his first game under the regime of the new manager, José Mourinho, this Saturday against West Ham United F.C..
