Two out of three clubs in the relegation zone earn a win yesterday, as Persija Jakarta and Barito Putera battled each other while Semen Padang claimed a win against Piala Indonesia 2018/19 winner, PSM Makassar.

At the Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi, Macan Kemayoran earned a narrow win 1-0 against Barito Putera. Herry Susanto, who came on from the bench, scored the winning goal at the 53rd minute and helped his team rise up to 14th position while Laskar Antasari, who couldn’t win in each of their last three matches, are now stuck in the 17th position.

Meanwhile, in Padang, PSM were shocked as they lost to the hosts, who sit in 18th place, by a 2-1 scoreline. Juku Eja also lost two of their goalkeepers, both of whom were injured during the match. Both goalkeeping changing lead PSM to condeded goals.

Three minutes before the half-time ended, starting keeper Rivky Mokodompit was injured and replaced by Heri Prasetyo, who was unable to keep a clean sheet when Kabau Sirah’s new signing, midfielder Flavio Beck Junior, scored from a free-kick.

PSM managed to equalize through Ferdinan Sinaga at the 70th minutes, but then the curse came again as Heri Prasetyo was injured in last ten minutes, and midfielder Zulham Zamrun became an emergency goalkeeper. Additionally, the away team had to play with ten players as they had run out substitutions. Vanderley Fransisco, another new signing for the hosts, made the Haji Agus Salim’s crowd party as he scored his debut goal and helped his team to win in front of their fanatic supporters.

On the same day, Persib Bandung also claimed an away victory in Sidoarjo when they face Persipura Jayapura, with the final score 1-3 in favor of the visitors. Another West Java club, PS TIRA-Persikabo, also took one point from Perseru Badak Lampung FC. Lastly, earlier this afternoon, Arema claimed a big 4-0 win against PSS Sleman while a game between Kalteng Putra and PSIS Semarang ended goalless.
