Andik Vermansyah – 7.5/10: Andik provided one assist for Beto, who played well in attack and could cover the left side when Fajrin overlapped too.
Beto Goncalves – 8.5/10: The naturalized striker hit a brace that helped give the Garuda hope. He battled for 90 minutes, and the Malaysian defense struggled to stop or dispossess him. A lethal weapon that we still need it for the next game against Thailand.
Substitutes:
Rizky Pellu – 6/10: The chain breaker did not have much success as Malaysia had a fast transition all over the pitch. Pellu wasn’t able to replicate the role Zulfiandi performed as he couldn’t maintain the ball at his feet and communicate well through the other players.
Irfan Jaya – 6.5/10: Slightly bit better than any other substitute players, he kept running and help Stefano and Beto to score another goal but lapses in concentration defensively were an issue.
Ruben Sanadi – 6/10: Ruben Sanadi is a versatile player, originally played in the right with Persebaya he also can play as a left-back from his youth days in Pelita Jaya. Unfortunately, he couldn’t hold down the left side, the strongest point of our defense, which allowed Malaysia to score the winner.
