After the first loss of PS TIRA-Persikabo and first win for Semen Padang, this weekend saw another happy ending ended as Macan Kemayoran broke their poor run of form and are now roaring back. Read below for their story and many more from the latest round in Liga 1.

Perfect Record in Mattoanging

A 3-1 win against Persib Bandung last Sunday made PSM Makassar extend their unbeatable home game record. Juku Eja earned six wins from six home games, scoring 14 goals and conceding 4 in the process. With that record, Wiljan Pluim and his colleagues need only one more home winning to tie Bali United’s record this season, but they’ve been more aggressive than the league leaders as Serdadu Tridatu only scored 13 goals while conceding 3.

Macan Kemayoran Roaring Back!

Persija Jakarta successfully ended their five games winless run after crushing Kalteng Putra 3-0 in Senayan Madya Stadium last Tuesday. A goal from Marko Simic, Heri Susanto and Sandi Sute now helped them move out of the relegation zone with 12 points from 11 games.

Bambang Nurdiansyah the savior

Meanwhile, another Jakarta-based club Bhayangkara FC earned a 0-0 draw against PSIS Semarang on the same day. This can be considered as a bad result for The Guardian, and a good one for Laskar Mahesa Jenar who lost in last four consecutive games. The draw gives them hope under the new guidance of Bambang Nurdiansyah. Coach Banur isn’t a new face as he already coached PSIS in 2005, 2008 and 2009.

#SayNoToRacism

Far away in England at a time when Paul Pogba gets racist jeers from supporters, the situation in Indonesia not very different as there was an attack to Papuan students in Surabaya by local police officers that gave a shock for our “Unity in Diversity” motto. Many clubs and players are now spreading positive messages because “Papua is Indonesia, and Indonesia is Papua” so #SayNoToRacism, please!

The Tenth…

After suffering a loss against Bali United this week, Dejan Antonic has stepped down from his duty as Madura United’s coach. He now becomes the tenth coach that has been fired or stepped down this season, even the league hasn't even passed the half-way mark yet. Meanwhile, two teams have already announced their new coach to start the new game week with new hope. Bhayangkara FC announced ex-Vanuatu national team manager, Paul Munster, to be their new coach while Persebaya Surabaya will be coached by ex-Indonesia national team manager, Alfred Riedl.

Results of Week 15

Here’s all the results from Week 15 which already finished on Tuesday evening. Bali United leading the group with a total of 34 points. Their victory has thrown Madura United from the big three  Meanwhile there was also a bad result for another Eastern Java club as Persela Lamongan are now in the relegation zone after being defeated by last place Semen Padang.
