For athletes, injuries are a normal pattern of everyday life. Even if you train yourself correctly and prefectly, muscular problems will inevitably occur.

However, there are also incidents that happen for weird and unexpected reasons.

For example, after winning the Super Cup last week, Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian was injured by a supporter who entered the field.

Today we want to introduce you to the most strange injuries in the history of football.

6 – Emerson

At that time, Emerson was a Roma player and he was selected as a member of Brazil national team to participate at 2002 World Cup.

However, a bizarre injury prevented him from participating in any of the games. The defensive midfielder injured his shoulder while playing as a keeper during a training session.

“I usually played as a keeper during training and it’s the first time something like this happens. Coach Capello was really mad at me” he said.

5 – Alfie Mawson

The Fulham defender injured himself in a completely inexplicable. He was just simply changing his boots and…..knee injury.

Coach Ranieri remember the moment in this way: ” I cannot explain myself what happened….he was just changing his boots and….now we still don’t know when he will be able to play next time”
