With Premier League market now closed, the summer transfer season in Europe is reaching its climax. The next few days will be really important for top clubs to complete their squads.
Today we will focus on players who are currently free of contract.
Actually, there are 13 players with champions league experience who are still without a contract heading into the new season.
We introduced six of them on the first part of this topic at the following link.
Here’s the rest of them.
Coentrão reached the “Top of Europe” two times with Real Madrid.
However, his career at Real Madrid was not so brilliant as he struggled to establish himself as a regular member of the first time, and as such as went on loan to Monaco in 2015.
In 2018 he transferred completely to Rio Ave, which was his first team as a professional player. We don’t know the details but, at the end of the season, he will be free of contract.
He was bought by Liverpool in 2014. However, the club made many new signings in the wide positions and the opportunities for participation were limited. Since then, he has been transferred to multiple clubs such as Fenerbahce and Sporting Lisbon.
Now his contract with Liverpool has expired but the player is still 25 years old. For the sake of his career, he will be hoping to find a new club soon.
