Al-Duhail have won against Al-Ain 4-2 in the meeting that brought them together at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in the first leg of Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League.
Al Ain the famous and feared team, reached this round of 16 after their big victory against Al Hilal Saudi and occupying the second place of Group D with 10 points behind Tehran’s Esteghlal F.C.
Al-Dahil opened the scoring in the 16th minute before adding the second goal in the 39th minute of the first half.
Not much time passed on the start of the second half when Ismail Mohammed scored the third goal in the 48th minute. Al-Duhail’s Al-Moez Abdullah finished the scoring with the fourth and final goal.
Al Ain’s goals came through Ahmed Khalil and Diakha Ibrahim in the 68th and 86th minutes.
