The Italian Football Federation announced last week that the Italian team would face Saudi Arabia in a friendly match on May 28 in Switzerland.
The Saudi team is in Group A in the World Cup, alongside Egypt, Russia and Uruguay.
The match comes as part of preparations for the Green Falcons to participate in the World Cup to be held in Russia this summer, and will be the first square-off between the two teams.
According to the official website of the Italian team, the friendly match will have the two teams at the stadium Kibon Park in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Italy has not qualified for the World Cup, but they will face France, Netherlands, and Saudi Arabia in friendlies in June.
