Gareth Bale admits he is considering to join the Chinese Super League later in his career, according to The Mirror‘s report on Sunday.
Bale is currently representing the Wales national team at the friendly tournament China Cup in Nanning. His side will face Uruguay on Monday’s final after thrashing China 6-0 in the previous game.
“It’s a great country with great people,” Bale said, as quoted by The Mirror.
“In terms of the future I’m not too sure, I haven’t really looked that far, to be honest.
“But I’m sure that if I ever did come I’ll be looked after very well.
“Whenever I come to China we always have such an amazing reception from the Chinese fans. They’ve been very welcoming to all of us, not just me. They look after us really well.”
Although enjoying major success at Real Madrid, the 28-year-old forward has endured an uncertain future at Santiago Bernabeu, where he is no longer guaranteed a start.
However, Bale, whose contract will be expired in 2022, reportedly had told the club he would only consider leaving Madrid for another major European side.
