Vietnamese naturalized player Hoang Vu Samson has returned to Hanoi FC, following his contract termination with Thai League 1 side Buriram United.
The return of Samson was announced by Hanoi FC on their official Facebook page on Saturday evening. It said: “V-League top scorer will return to Hanoi. Samson is currently in Nigeria to manage his family affairs.”
On the other hand, Hanoi FC unveiled that the Nigerian-born will join his squad in Hanoi on 17 March for training sessions.
Currently, both Hanoi FC and Buriram United have yet made the official announcement about the early termination of Samson’s contract.
During his stint at Buriram, Samson has made two appearances. However, he made a bad start when his penalty kick was denied in his debut for the Thai League 1 champions during the Thai Super Cup game against Chiangrai United.
