Prestigious Hebei China Fortune are preparing a mega £621m move for Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, according to reports from Mundo Deportivo.
Mundo Deportivo claimed that Hebei China Fortune were determined to secure Messi’s services and prepared to pay of around £1.7 million-a-week after tax in the summer.
However the Argentine forward turned down the offer and signed the new contract with Barcelona until 2021 with a £618m release clause.
Fortune also hope that Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Mascherano, who have both joined the club and are personal friends of Messi, will be able to persuade the 30-year-old superstar to make the move.
