Ceres-Negros set to sign former Real Betis goalkeeper Toni Doblas

Former Real Betis and Napoli goalkeeper Toni Doblas is set to join Philippines Football League (PFL) champions Ceres-Negros, as reported by AS.

AS claimed that Doblas reached an agreement to leave San Fernando, the club of the Spanish fourth-tier Segunda División B, where he had played 18 games this season.

At the peak of his career in Spain, Doblas was the first-choice goalkeeper of Real Betis from 2004 to 2007 and won the Copa del Rey in 2005.

Nine years later, he won the Coppa Italia title with Napoli despite being an unused substitute in the final against Fiorentina.

Since then, the 37-year-old has played for short spells with several clubs abroad and some lower division Spanish teams.
